This rarity chart is based off of how hard it is to find an item, either in person or online. It is NOT based off of the value of an item.

1 Common Extremely easy to find. Any regular music store should have this item. Most official stuff is in this catagory, and it's rare that any promos will be in this catagory.
2 Common+ Pretty simple to locate, but probably not at your local big-chain store.
3 Scarce Some specialty music shops might have this if your lucky. Should pop up on eBay regularly.
4 Scarce+ On eBay you should be able to find this every few weeks. Only in the UK may you find one of these in your local music shop.
5 Rare You should see this on eBay every now and then, but you might need to search a bit harder. Online promo shops will have this in stock.
6 Rare+ Some online promo shops will have this. You will have to hover over eBay for a while until this pops up.
7 Very Rare eBay is going to need some constant watching over a several month period to grab this. You might find it on at a few well known promo shops if you're lucky, but it will come at a high cost.
8 Very Rare+ You'll need to start watching your online promo shops heavily to find this if it pops into their inventory and grab it while you can. It may not appear on eBay for several months.
9 Extremely Rare You may have to wait years before you see this item for sale, either on eBay or in your favorite online shop. Your best bet is to make friends with other hardcore collectors and see if they'll sell. Our forums is a good place to start talking to the community.
10 Unbelievably Rare The chances that you'll ever get this item are nearly zero. If you see this on eBay or in a shop more than once then you are very lucky. Even fellow collectors won't be able to obtain this item. Examples of these are Japanese promo cassettes, Brazil and Australian stamped promos, Acetates, and the Songbird (Demo) UK Promo. Watch out for fakes!
